Fast Company Recognizes Thrive Market with Innovation by Design Honor for Retail Innovation and User ExperienceBy YML
Thrive Market — the nationwide sustainable e-commerce grocery retailer and YML client — was honored in Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards for 2021 in the Retail Innovation and User Experience categories.
One of the most sought-after design awards in the industry, Innovation by Design is the only competition to honor creative work at the intersection of design, business and innovation. They recognize the people, companies and trends that transform society through design.
YML built Thrive Market’s web and mobile experiences along with an auto-ship strategy to engage more first-time users in sign-ups and purchases.
“Our work with Thrive Market came at just the right time — designing an experience that not only increased sign-ups and first-time purchases on-site, but most importantly made ordering groceries remotely a seamless experience for millions,” said Ashish Toshniwal, CEO and co-founder of YML. “Congratulations to Thrive Market on this special recognition.”
“YML has helped with one of our critical goals of upleveling our brand and experience,” shared James Meeks, Head of Product and UX at Thrive Market.
“Design is not just a beauty contest. It’s something that can change the world and create solutions in a time when we face pressing global issues such as systemic racism, climate change and a global pandemic,” said Stephanie Mehta, editor-in-chief of Fast Company. “Many of these entries showcase these challenges while providing hope for the future through their steadfast commitment to elevate design.”
Winners, finalists and honorable mentions are featured online and in the October issue of Fast Company magazine, on newsstands September 28, 2021.
Celebrating 10 years, the 2021 Fast Company awards honorees include nearly 600 projects, products and services from world-class brands including Nike, Verizon and Microsoft.
