Thrive Market and State Farm Win Four Webby Awards

The 2021 Webby Awards recognized two different YML projects for a total of four Webby Awards.

With a record-breaking 13,500 projects entered from around the world, winning these awards solidifies this work as being among “the best of the internet” across multiple categories. “YML has set the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said Claire Graves, Executive Director of The Webby Awards. “These awards are a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators.”

State Farm, a three-time Webby winner in 2020, won this year for Apps and Software - General Mobile & OTT Apps, Services & Utilities. YML's continued work with their mobile app helps people access their coverage for home, rental, life and car insurance — whenever they need it. YML helped bring their trustworthy brand across mobile in an easy-to-use, sleek interface.

"We’re incredibly proud to be recognized by the Webbys not once but twice this year," said Stephen Clements, YML's CCO. "The continued, growing success of our work year on year is a testament to the incredible talent and ambitious clients we have at YML."

Thrive Market, the nationwide sustainable e-commerce grocery retailer, was awarded three Webbys this year across these categories:

YML's work with Thrive Market centered around helping their web and mobile experiences engage more first-time users in both sign-ups and purchases. The work focused Thrive Market's experience to become hyper-personalized to the user’s preferences and built an actual relationship with the user — a modern personalization strategy for the modern online grocer.
