Google and YML Partner to Make Machine Learning More Accessible Than Ever
By YMLAs part of YML’s four-year partnership with Google, our latest work was on full display in a technical session at Google I/O about the latest developments in on-device Machine Learning using MediaPipe Tasks. The project highlights the building of the Python and iOS APIs for Google’s MediaPipe Tasks. It's a state-of-the-art library designed to make on-device Machine Learning (ML) more accessible than ever.
Our team at YML was not only tasked with bringing the legacy MediaPipe Solutions to the next generation, but we also assisted in implementing the newly launched solutions found in the low-code API's latest release.
By combining YML's expertise in cutting-edge technology and our passion for making Machine Learning more user-friendly, this collaboration aims to empower developers, researchers, and enthusiasts across the globe to harness the power of Machine Learning on their devices. With a focus on ease of use, efficiency, and customizability, the library will offer a range of capabilities, including:
Simplified integration of ML models in various applications
Efficient inference on a wide array of devices, from smartphones to IoT devices
TensorFlow Lite for the best end-to-end on-device ML and hardware performance.
A comprehensive collection of pre-trained models and examples to customize some common ML use cases.
Model cards to understand what a model's specifications are and what exactly it's used for.
