YETI Recognized on Forbes’ List of Brands of the Year

YETI — a brand known for uniting recreationists of all kinds — was recently named to Forbes' 2022 Brands of the Year list. YETI has been a YML client since 2020, and continues to partner with YETI to build innovative experiences that drive scalable commerce.

As Forbes states, “YETI’s secret sauce is the authenticity of the people and the products." Valued at more than $6B, YETI partnered with YML to launch a new product category — an exclusive line of travel bags — on their website. On the day of the launch, YETI’s new collection sold out in just 24 hours and received widespread praise from CNN to Travel and Leisure.

“The power of the YETI brand is more than our innovative products, it’s the deep connections we build with our community,” said Ginny Golden, Director of Creative at YETI.

“YETI shows us the great upside of the great outside. It’s a privilege to work for such visionary clients and to help them succeed at being in the company of the other brand titans on this list,” said Stephen Clements, Chief Creative Officer at YML. “And it’s especially meaningful when going analog and getting back to nature helps us, a design and technology company, and many other people, to disconnect and recharge our creative batteries.”

Working cross-functionally, the YML and YETI teams built both a new bags-focused product and the foundation for a scalable design system, maximizing YETI's global e-commerce experience. From pitch to launch, the teams completed the work in eight short weeks.

YETI’s most recent earnings report cites a YoY increase of 24% (to $551.9M) in net sales of coolers and equipment, driven by growth in bags, outdoor living products, soft coolers and hard coolers.
