Stephen Clements, Chief Creative Officer at YML, brings over 18 years of industry experience to the table, having worked at the top of his game. He has created breakthrough work for a wide range of big brands such as Activision, Anheuser-Busch, Apple, Audi, eBay, Google, Jordan, Levi’s, MLB, NVIDIA, Polestar, Under Armour, Universal Music Group, Visa, Volvo Trucks, Xbox, Yeti, and YouTube, to name a few.
Some of the most innovative and inspiring work of the last decade can be credited to Stephen. He helped bring the 10k race to London for Nike through Nike Run London. He designed the future of the TV interface for Xbox 360, and was instrumental in launching XboxLIVE. He reimagined the automotive digital ecosystem for AudiUSA, creating “the R8 of digital experiences”. He designed “the world’s coolest basketball court” for Nike’s Jordan at the All Star Weekend in New York. And he brought “Beer on-demand” to the world, with the Bud Light Button, for Anheuser Busch. Stephen most recently helped shape Kaiser Permanente’s digital transformation of healthcare during the pandemic, which not only supported more than 13M patients at a critical time, but elevated Kaiser Permanente to Fast Company’s Design Company of the Year; the first time a healthcare company has ever received the honor.
Stephen’s work has been featured in prestigious publications such as Wired, Forbes, BBC, WSJ, PSFK, the New York Times, and USA Today. His efforts have been recognized in global awards shows, including Cannes, One Show, ADC, D&AD, the Addys, the Webbys, and the Effies.
In addition to his work for big brands, Stephen also has a product of his own called Monty, a chatbot sommelier. Outside of work, Stephen enjoys surfing, rock climbing, camping, Burningman \o/ and art shows. Prior to his work in the creative industry, Stephen was an architect, and he hails from England.
